海边

现在我来了海边。
Xiànzài wǒ lái le hǎi biān.
Now I’m at the seaside.

好久没来了，
Hǎojiǔ méi lái le,
I haven't been here for a long time,

也没有很多人。
yě méiyǒu hěn duō rén.
and there are not many people either.

刚才有一个朋友告诉我，
Gāngcái yǒu yí gè péngyou gàosu wǒ,
A friend of mine just told me,

今天这里会有很多人，
jīntiān zhèlǐ huì yǒu hěn duō rén,
there will be a lot of people here today,

因为是假期。
yīnwèi shì jiàqī.
because it’s the holiday.

但是没有。
Dànshì méiyǒu.
but there are not many people here.

早知道伤心总是难免的，
Zǎo zhīdào shāngxīn zǒngshì nánmiǎn de,
You knew long ago that heartbroken is unavoidable,

你又何苦一往情深。
nǐ yòu hékǔ yìwǎng qíngshēn.
Why you had to be devoted.

因为爱情总是难舍难分，
Yīnwèi àiqíng zǒngshì nánshě nánfēn,
Because love always is hard to give up and hard to depart,

何必在意那一点点温存。
hébì zàiyì nà yì diǎn diǎn wēncún.
Why you have to care about those bits of gentleness.

要知道伤心总是难免的，
Yào zhīdào shāngxīn zǒngshì nánmiǎn de,
You have to know that heartbroken is always unavoidable,

在每一个梦想时分。
zài měi yí gè mèngxiǎng shífēn.
At the moment of each dream waking.

有些事情你现在不必问，
Yǒuxiē shìqing nǐ xiànzài búbì wèn,
