1. S+ V+ 着。

Mén kāi zhe 。
门 开 着 。
Chuānɡhu ɡuān zhe 。
窗 户 关 着 。
Lǎoshī zhàn zhe 。
老 师 站 着 。
Tónɡxué men zuò zhe 。
同 学 们 坐 着 。

2. S+ 在+ 地方+ V+ 着。

Tónɡxué men zài yǐzi shànɡ zuò zhe 。
同 学 们 在 椅子 上 坐 着 。
Dàwèi zài chuánɡ shànɡ tǎnɡ zhe 。
大卫 在 床 上 躺 着 。
Bàbɑ de chē zài lù biān tínɡ zhe 。

3. S+ V+ 着 +O。

(情境:大卫去他的中国朋友李小明的宿舍找他，门掩着，大卫敲门)
David is going to find his Chinese friend Li Xiaoming at his dorm.The door is half open and David is knocking at the door.

李小明:门开着呢，请进!
The door is open.Come in,please!

大 卫:都几点了，你怎么还在床上躺着啊!不舒服吗?
What’s the time now?Why are you still in bed?Are you not
feeling well?

李小明:没有不舒服，就是没睡好，昨天夜里我同屋跟他的朋友喝着啤酒看足球比赛，一边喝一边聊太吵了，所以我也很晚才睡觉。
I’m fine.I just didn’t sleep well.My roommate was drinking beer with his friend when they watched a football game last night.They were drinking and talking so loudly and that’s why I went to bed very late too.

大 卫:怪不得你现在还没起床。我来的时候看见你同屋拉着行李往
往学校门口走，他要搬家吗?
No wonder you are still not up now.I saw your roommate was walking to the school gate with his luggage when I came here.Is he moving out?

李小明:搬家就好了，他是去旅行了。对了，你今天怎么有空过来，
找我有事吗?
I wish he was moving out.He is just going to travel. Well, why are you free to come today?Is there anything I can do for you?

大 卫:我想借一下你的电动车，打你电话你一直不接，所以我就来了。
I want to borrow your electric bicycle.I called you but you didn't pick up the phone.So I just came.

李小明:车钥匙就在桌子上放着呢，你自己拿吧。
The key is on the table.Just take it by yourself.

大 卫:看到了。我下午回来就还你。
I saw it.I will give it back to you this afternoon when I come back.

李小明:不着急，我今天不出去。车在楼门左边停着，你一出去就看
见了。
No rush.I’m not going out today.The bicycle is on the left side of the building gate.You will see it when you go out of the building.

大 卫:好的，多谢!
