1.是 +【时间】+的
(1) Nǐshì shénme shíhîu huíBěijīnɡde?
你是 什么 时 候 回北京的。
(2) Wǒshì shànɡgè xīnɡqī huíBěijīnɡde。
我是 上个星期 回北京的。
2. 是 +【对象】+的
(1) Nǐshì ɡēnshéi yìqǐqùde?
你是 跟谁 一起去的?
(12 Wǒshì ɡēn AnnīhéShānběn yì qǐqùde。
我是 跟 安妮和山本 一起去的。
3. 是 +【目的】+的
(1) Annī yěshì qùShànɡhǎi lǚxínɡdemɑ?
安妮 也是 去上海 旅行的吗?
(2) Annī búshì qù Shànɡhǎi lǚxínɡde，tāshìqùkàntābàbɑde。
安妮 不是 去 上海 旅行的， 她是去看她爸爸的。
4. 是 +【方式】+的
(1) Nǐmenshì zěnme qùde?
你们是 怎么 去的?
(2) Wǒmenshì zuòfēijī qùde。
我们是 坐飞机 去的。
(3) Huílɑide shíhòu shì zuòhuǒchē huílɑide。
回来 的 时候 是 坐火车 回来的。
5.提问例句
(1) Nǐde zìxínɡchē shì zàinǎr mǎide?
你的自行车 是 在哪儿 买的?
(2) Wǒde zìxínɡchē shì zàixuéxiào fùjìnde shānɡdiàn mǎide。
我的自行车 是 在学校 附近的 商店 买的。
(3) Zhèxiēhuā shìshéi sònɡɡěinǐde?
这些花 是谁 送给你的?
(4) Zhèxiēhuā shì nánpénɡyou sònɡɡěiwǒde。
这些花 是 男朋友 送给我的。

男:听说你语法考得很不错呀!
I heard that you did a god job on Chinese grammar test.
女:你是怎么知道的?
Oh, how did you know that?
男:我是听玛丽说的。你语法一直学得很不错，你是怎么学的?
Mary told me that. Your Chinese grammar is really good and how did you learn it?
女:有本书我觉得很有用，就是这个!你也可以看看。
I think this book could help a lot and you could read as well!
男:这本书你是在哪儿买的?
Where can I get this book?
女:是在学校门口书店买的。
I bought from bookstore just at the gate.
女 2:这本书我也有，不过我不是在学校的书店买的。
I also had this book as well but not from the bookstore.
男:那你是在哪里买的?
So where?
女 2:我是用手机在网上买的，很方便，还打折呢!
I bought it on line through cell phone, quite convenient. Besides, It’s on sale!
男:那太好了，你快告诉我吧，我也马上买。
Great!Tell me and I will place an order right away.
