Use “后” after a verb or action to show that the second event happens after the first one.
"离开宿舍后失联。"
Use “并” to connect two verbs or clauses to describe that both actions happen together or in close succession; it is more formal than “和”.

“同时” is used to introduce another action that happens at the same time as the first action.

“正在” is used before a verb to show an action is in progress right now.

Use “对” with a noun to mark the thing you are talking about, plus “感到/觉得” and an emotion to express how you feel about it.
