Use this structure to introduce information reported by a source, often seen in news and summaries. It’s a formal way to mean “according to …”.

Use “其中” to single out a part of a previously mentioned group or quantity—“among them” or “of which.”

“以” before a noun or noun phrase explains the means or manner of doing something—“in order to,” “by,” or “with.”

“使” introduces the result that someone or something causes, equivalent to “to make” or “to cause” in English.

“同时” introduces an additional action or result happening concurrently; “也” emphasizes that this action/result is another aspect.
"同时垂直飞行也减少了以前航天飞行器对结构和细长比的特殊要求。"
