This pattern is used to introduce information来源 or findings from a report, document, or data source. It works like “the report shows that…” in English and is very common in formal and business Chinese.

同比 means “compared with the same period last year.” It is often followed by verbs like 增长, 上升, 下降. This is a very common structure in economic and statistical reports.

A time word such as 2025年 or 本年度 often appears at the beginning of a clause to set the time frame. After that, the sentence gives a metric and its value. In formal writing, 是 is often omitted.

Formal Chinese often lists several related statistics in parallel clauses, separated by semicolons. The repeated structure is often omitted because the meaning is clear from context. This style is common in reports and news writing.
